Potatoes are full of goodness if treated right. Instead of making French fries at home, serve this healthy variation which requires no oil, but just microwave cooking.
Ingredients for jacket potatoes:
- Small sized potatoes, washed well – 4
- A little butter
- Salt to taste
Method of making jacket potatoes:
Puncture holes in the potatoes with a fork.
In a microwave safe bowl, put potatoes at the bottom and add water to cover up to 1/4th of the potatoes .
Microwave on high for 5 to 6 minutes till done.
After cooling, make 2 intersecting cuts on potato.
Top with butter or grated cheese. Sprinkle salt.
Serve when hot!
