This position is in Bangalore – Starting ASAP!
About Us
mDhil is a start-up that has grown over the last year to become India’s largest online health community. Our first services were SMS-based, but in the last 12 months we have seen terrific growth in our mobile & desktop website, as well as in our original video content (we have over 600,000 views on our YouTube channel!). We were born out of a need for honest and frank health-related information that is factually accurate, supported by health professionals, and compelling for an Indian audience.
Our most popular topics include sexual health and women’s health, diet and nutrition, and beauty, lifestyle diseases, exercise, etc. Information is displayed on our site in the form of articles, health tips, images, slideshows, quizzes and videos. Our core users are urban, and we have seen wonderful support coming from the physician and doctor community in India. mDhil has over 140,000 Facebook fans, and we use social media as a key tool of audience engagement.
mDhil was founded by a Harvard Business School graduate, and you would be joining a start-up full of bright individuals who have fun while working in a non-bureaucratic environment. We have a dedicated team of health professionals, journalists, a social media manager, a SEO whiz, and a borrowed pet-dog…all that’s really missing is you. mDhil has been recognized at venues like TED, Sankalp Mumbai, the World Bank, Health 2.0, and SXSW.
